Statement From The Denver Police Department

The opportunity for burglars increases with the warm weather. The Denver Police Department would like to remind residents of measures that can be taken to reduce your risk of being the victim of a burglary:

– Always lock your front door when you are working or relaxing in the back yard.

– Close and lock garage doors when you are not using them. An unlocked or open garage door invites thieves to your cars, bicycles, lawn equipment or tools.

– Do not leave your valuables in your car in plain sight as people pass by this invites crime.
